Day 4, 12:36 Going back into Sibiu
The top riders are already on their way back into Sibiu. They have a time limit of 60 minutes to do the liaison into town and going up on the rooftop of the “Crazy Bikers House”, which was also part of the prologue, to receive their trophies up there.
Day 4, 11:17 still no change in the lead
are they gonna marry in the finish? can’t live without each other after all those days out there together??
joking … still one pack of 4: Jarvis, Forster, Birch and Verhoeven … 30 kilometers to go. without any mechanical problems, it seems like this was it.
Day 4, 11:05: Jarvis still right behind Forster and Birch
still, the top 3 guys are riding together and time is almost up for either Forster or Birch in order to launch any final attack.
Day 4, 10:46 Shane an Miha lost a couple of positions on a downhill run
They where in the top ten, but got stuck in a steep downhill, where David Myers and David Wood passed them. Shane also had another highspeed crash, but didn’t hurt himself and didn’t damage the bike. So they are just looking forward to finish the race and stay in the top ten overall right now.
Day 4, 10:30 Leading pack still together after service point
After live tracking, the extended leading pack in Pro-Class (Jarvis, Forster, Birch, Verhoeven) is still riding together after the service point. If Forster cannot launch an attack within the next hour in order to get rid of copy-and-paste Jarvis, he’ll not make up the gap of 9 minutes and 32 seconds to leading Jarvis.
Verhoeven is on a mission today, if he’ll continue with the leaders, this stage victory will be his. A great satisfaction for the Dutchman, as he’s had bad luck in matters of mechanical problems already twice at this 5th edition of Red Bull Romaniacs.
Day 4, 10:30 Greg likes todays ride
He says its pretty fast trails today, but also some technical parts. He once cought up with Geoff Aaron, because Geoff missed a turnoff, but right before SP there was a really steep downhill where Geoff got away again.
